(More customer reviews)These shoes may look affordable but the synthetic leather has several major problems, it is not as supple as real leather (and K-leather is the best of the lot) and it also seems to shrink after it gets wet. Synthetic leather cannot be cleaned or conditioned as normal leather and after a few cycles of water and sun, the material becomes even more rigid.
When playing in wet conditions, the shoe also gets soaked very fast. Although the cleats are slated for FG or Firm Ground, they offer reasonable traction even on muddy surfaces however.
If you have to buy a pair, get it at least one size larger in order to account for the shrinking. The front of the shoe seems to be a little more narrow than others. Either that or my son has wider toes.
Overall, I'd say if you can afford them, look for a better and slightly more expensive pair of shoes if your child is serious about soccer.
