(More customer reviews)I have a large, wide foot (for a soccer player) and I've found that the Adidas 7406 fits better than any other boot I've worn. The calf-skin upper is supple and conforms to my foot, and I actually prefer the way it feels on contact to the feel of my Copas. I find the Copas long, narrow, and rigid after heavy use, but these uppers have stayed soft and tough despite heavy use. I've bought a second pair for when my first pair wears out (if they do!).

If you want an elite soccer shoe that combines fresh design and a classic style, the adidas 7406 TRX is a perfect choice. The outsole employs both TPU (Thermoplastic Urethane) and Traxion technologies for maximum grip and precision on firm, natural ground. The calf leather upper and pre-molded EVA midsole offer you unmatched comfort.
About Traxion Traxion bladed outsoles are designed to provide optimal ground penetration for maximum grip, larger surface area for greater acceleration and better pressure distribution for increased comfort. They appear as Traxion SG (soft ground), Traxion FG (firm ground), and Traxion HG (hard or synthetic grass surfaces).
About EVA EVA is a copolymer or cross-linked foam made of ethylene and vinyl acetate. It is made up of hundreds of thousands of foam cells that contain air or gas. When you land on EVA foam it is compressed out of the foam, replenishing when the weight is off that foot. Many athletic shoes use a compression-molded EVA midsole. By compressing EVA in a pressurized mold the midsole forms a thick skin which helps the EVA last longer. It also provides more structural integrity to the midsole.
About adidas The vision of company founder Adolf Dassler has long become reality, and his corporate philosophy the guiding principle for successor generations. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant. Adi Dasslers aim was to provide every athlete with the best possible equipment. It all began in 1920, when Adi Dassler made his first shoes using the few materials available after the First World War.
The adidas name dates back to 1948, deriving from the first two syllables of Adi Dasslers first and last name. One year later, Adi Dassler registered the Three Stripes as a trademark. After a period spanning almost 70 years, the Dassler Family withdrew from the company in 1989, and the enterprise was transformed into a corporation ("Aktiengesellschaft"). French-born Robert Louis-Dreyfus was Chairman of the Executive Board from April 1993 to March 2001. It was he who initiated adidas flotation on the stock market in November 1995. adidas--a name that stands for competence in all sectors of sport around the globe. Today, the adidas product range extends from shoes, apparel and accessories for basketball, soccer, fitness and training to adventure, trail and golf.
