(More customer reviews)I've played a lot of soccer in these on astroturf. I like them. I haven't had any problems practicing in thick or wet grass, either.
However, the white split swoosh on my kicking foot cracked and its stitching detached, so it was a loose flap. I tore it off (leather underneath is fine) and I'm happy. I doubt it served any functional purpose (shock absorber?). Maybe someone stepped caught it with their cleat.
