It has enclosures for my athletic shoes, two large compartments otherwise, another small compartment for keys and mobile phones, a place for my sizeable water bottle and a zip-out net on the front (I'm sure it's for a soccer ball, but I use it for my swim suit after it is rung out). I find the bag to be roomy enough, but not too large, because I can fit it in my locker easily. This bag is of very high quality and wears well -- still looks brand new.
