I've got some red and black ones, and some older models, but the R4 is still the best. comfortable for 10 hour long days on your feet, or great for the gym, hell the black leather is so nice i wear them to semi-formal events and no one seems to even notice (side note- i also don't wear pants to semi-formal events, which may account for the lack of attention to the shoes.)
If i only got one pair of shoes to wear for the rest of my life, I'd be perfectly happy if they were R4's. well. i mean, not like, EXACTLY the same pair, because I might step in some kind of animal doo or stain them with green paint or something, then I wouldn't want to wear those same ones forever. but if nike was like "hey, Drew, you're kind of out of shape, and swear a lot, and make inappropriate comments in public, we want to sponsor you! all you have to do is wear nothing but Shox R4's for the rest of your life, here's every pair we make in a size 13. Enjoy!"
I'd say yes.
