(More customer reviews)This is my second pair of Sanuk's. They are not just comfortable but also make great walking shoes (or sandals as Sanuk insists). This is because the tops extend up far enough so they fit firmly on the foot and don't flap like flip flops. Yet they slip on easily, are comfortably cool both due to the breathable fabric and the little side vents. Best of all, should they become dirty, they can be tossed in the washer along with a load of clothes. The only improvement I would make is to put some sort of sealant along the seam as after a full season of wear it begins to fray. Otherwise, I would not change a thing about them.
I bought these because I felt self-conscious wearing open toed shoes or sandals due to a toe injury that discolored and ridged the nail on my big toe. In the past wearing closed shoes in summer, even canvas ones, made my feet hot and uncomfortable. These are almost like going barefoot.
